The Carnation, for all it's simplicity holds a wealth of meanings.  It has been seen in famous paintings since the 17th Century and was mentioned in Greek literature 2000 year's ago.  It is said to have gained it's name from the word Coronation or "corone" (flower garlands), as it was one of the flowers used in Greek ceremonial crowns.  Our Carnations are available in two types, the Standard Carnation, which is a single headed stem and the Spray Carnation which has several flower heads to a stem. Our Carnations come from Colombia and Turkey, for the freshest, best quality flowers.
